﴿وَإِذَآ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحۡمَةٗ فَرِحُواْ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ يَقۡنَطُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 36]
﴿وإذا أذقنا الناس رحمة فرحوا بها وإن تصبهم سيئة بما قدمت أيديهم﴾ [الرُّوم: 36]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And when We make people taste of mercy they rejoice in it, and if an evil befall them for what their hands have already wrought, lo! they are in despair |
Mohammad Shafi And when We let people taste something good by Our Grace they rejoice at it. But if adversity afflicts them because of their past deeds, then and there, they despair |
