﴿وَإِذۡ قَالَ لُقۡمَٰنُ لِٱبۡنِهِۦ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُۥ يَٰبُنَيَّ لَا تُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّ ٱلشِّرۡكَ لَظُلۡمٌ عَظِيمٞ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 13]
﴿وإذ قال لقمان لابنه وهو يعظه يابني لا تشرك بالله إن الشرك﴾ [لُقمَان: 13]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And when Luqman said to his son while he admonished him: O my son! do not associate aught with Allah; most surely polytheism is a grievous iniquity |
| Mohammad Shafi And when Luqman said to his son by way of admonishing him, "O my son! Worship none besides Allah. Worshipping others besides Allah is certainly indeed a grave injustice |
