﴿وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَا كَأَنَّ فِيٓ أُذُنَيۡهِ وَقۡرٗاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 7]

When Our verses are recited to him, he turns away in arrogance, as if he did not hear them, as if there were deafness in his ears. So give him tidings of a painful punishment

ترجمة: وإذا تتلى عليه آياتنا ولى مستكبرا كأن لم يسمعها كأن في أذنيه, باللغة البريطانية

﴿وإذا تتلى عليه آياتنا ولى مستكبرا كأن لم يسمعها كأن في أذنيه﴾ [لُقمَان: 7]
