Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Ahzab ayat 16 - الأحزَاب - Page - Juz 21
﴿قُل لَّن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلۡفِرَارُ إِن فَرَرۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ أَوِ ٱلۡقَتۡلِ وَإِذٗا لَّا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 16]
﴿قل لن ينفعكم الفرار إن فررتم من الموت أو القتل وإذا لا﴾ [الأحزَاب: 16]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: Flight shall not do you any good if you fly from death or slaughter, and in that case you will not be allowed to enjoy yourselves but a little |
| Mohammad Shafi Say, "Fleeing will profit you not, if you flee from death, natural or violent. And even then, (when, with Allah's will, you are given respite from death for the time being,) you will not be allowed to enjoy life on this earth but a little |
