﴿مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ رِجَالٞ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَٰهَدُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيۡهِۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحۡبَهُۥ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبۡدِيلٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 23]
﴿من المؤمنين رجال صدقوا ما عاهدوا الله عليه فمنهم من قضى نحبه﴾ [الأحزَاب: 23]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least |
| Mohammad Shafi Of the believers there are men who are true to the promise they made to Allah. And of them is he who has fulfilled his vow, and of them is he who is waiting (to fulfill it). And they have not changed in the least |
