﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاذَوۡاْ مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ ٱللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُواْۚ وَكَانَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَجِيهٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 69]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين آذوا موسى فبرأه الله مما قالوا﴾ [الأحزَاب: 69]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir O you who believe! be not like those who spoke evil things of Musa, but Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was worthy of regard with Allah |
| Mohammad Shafi O you who believe! Be not like those who offended Moses, but Allah cleared him of what they said. And he had an honourable standing with Allah |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall O ye who believe! Be not as those who slandered Moses, but Allah proved his innocence of that which they alleged, and he was well esteemed in Allah's sight |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani O you who believe, be not like those who annoyed Mūsā, then Allah cleared him of what they alleged; and he was honorable in the sight of Allah |
| Muhammad Asad O YOU who have attained to faith! Be not like those [children of Israel] who gave offence to Moses, and [remember that] God showed him to be innocent of whatever they alleged [against him or demanded of him]: for of great honour was he in the sight of God |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali O you who have believed, do not be as the ones who hurt Musa, (Moses) yet Allah (declared) him quit of what they said, and he has been esteemed in the Providence of Allah |
| Muhammad Sarwar Believers, do not be like those who annoyed Moses. God proved him to be innocent of what they had said about him. Moses was a honorable person in the sight of God |
