Quran with British translation - Surah FaTir ayat 45 - فَاطِر - Page - Juz 22
﴿وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرَۢا ﴾
[فَاطِر: 45]
﴿ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بما كسبوا ما ترك على ظهرها من دابة﴾ [فَاطِر: 45]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And were Allah to punish men for what they earn, He would not leave on the back of it any creature, but He respites them till an appointed term; so when their doom shall come, then surely Allah is Seeing with respect to His servants |
Mohammad Shafi And were Allah to get hold of people for punishments they earn, He would not leave a single creature living! But He gives them time till an appointed term. And when their terms end, then, of course, Allah does have the overall picture of His subjects. h |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall If Allah took mankind to task by that which they deserve, He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth; but He reprieveth them unto an appointed term, and when their term cometh - then verily (they will know that) Allah is ever Seer of His slaves |
Mufti Taqi Usmani If Allah were to take mankind to task for what they did, He would have not left a living creature on its back, but He delays them upto an appointed time. So when their time will come, then Allah is the One who will see His slaves |
