﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ أَنفِقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَنُطۡعِمُ مَن لَّوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطۡعَمَهُۥٓ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ ﴾
[يسٓ: 47]
﴿وإذا قيل لهم أنفقوا مما رزقكم الله قال الذين كفروا للذين آمنوا﴾ [يسٓ: 47]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in naught but clear error |
Mohammad Shafi And when it is said to them, "Spend out of what Allah has given you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Shall we feed him whom, if Allah wills, He could feed? You are not but clearly in error |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest |
Mufti Taqi Usmani And when it is said to them, “Spend (to the needy) from the provision Allah has given to you”, the disbelievers say to the believers, “Shall we feed those whom Allah could have fed, if Allah so willed? You are but in open error.” |
