﴿وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ ﴾
[يسٓ: 74]
﴿واتخذوا من دون الله آلهة لعلهم ينصرون﴾ [يسٓ: 74]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped |
| Mohammad Shafi And they take gods besides Allah hoping to be helped |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They have adopted gods other than Allah, so that they may be helped (by them) |
| Muhammad Asad But [nay,] they take to worshipping deities other than God, [hoping] to be succoured [by them, and not knowing that] |
