﴿كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ ذُو ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ ﴾
[صٓ: 12]
﴿كذبت قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وفرعون ذو الأوتاد﴾ [صٓ: 12]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir The people of Nuh and Ad, and Firon, the lord of spikes, rejected (apostles) before them |
| Mohammad Shafi Before them, Noah's people, and the tribe of AAad, and Pharaoh of the many tent-pegs (i.e. with means and power), denied the Truth |
