﴿وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالٗا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَشۡرَارِ ﴾
[صٓ: 62]
﴿وقالوا ما لنا لا نرى رجالا كنا نعدهم من الأشرار﴾ [صٓ: 62]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious |
| Mohammad Shafi And they will say, "How come we do not see men whom we counted among the evil |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani And they (the infidels) will say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see those men (here in Hell) whom we used to count amongst the worst? (i.e the Muslims whom the infidels used to treat as the worst people among them) |
| Muhammad Asad And they will add: “How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we were wont to count among the wicked |
