﴿وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٖ فَحَيُّواْ بِأَحۡسَنَ مِنۡهَآ أَوۡ رُدُّوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَسِيبًا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 86]
﴿وإذا حييتم بتحية فحيوا بأحسن منها أو ردوها إن الله كان على﴾ [النِّسَاء: 86]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet with a better (greeting) than it or return it; surely Allah takes account of all things |
| Mohammad Shafi And when you are greeted with a greeting, then return the greeting in a better or similar manner. Indeed, Allah is the Comptroller over all things |
