Quran with British translation - Surah Ghafir ayat 10 - غَافِر - Page - Juz 24
﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُنَادَوۡنَ لَمَقۡتُ ٱللَّهِ أَكۡبَرُ مِن مَّقۡتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡ إِذۡ تُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ فَتَكۡفُرُونَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 10]
﴿إن الذين كفروا ينادون لمقت الله أكبر من مقتكم أنفسكم إذ تدعون﴾ [غَافِر: 10]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Surely those who disbelieve shall be cried out to: Certainly Allah's hatred (of you) when you were called upon to the faith and you rejected, is much greater than your hatred of yourselves |
| Mohammad Shafi An announcement is indeed made to those who had suppressed the Truth, "Allah's abhorrence is certainly more terrible than your abhorrence one of another, when you were called towards belief but you declined |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Lo! (on that day) those who disbelieve are informed by proclamation: Verily Allah's abhorrence is more terrible than your abhorrence one of another, when ye were called unto the faith but did refuse |
