Quran with British translation - Surah Az-Zukhruf ayat 77 - الزُّخرُف - Page - Juz 25
﴿وَنَادَوۡاْ يَٰمَٰلِكُ لِيَقۡضِ عَلَيۡنَا رَبُّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّٰكِثُونَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 77]
﴿ونادوا يامالك ليقض علينا ربك قال إنكم ماكثون﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 77]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And they shall call out: O Malik! let your Lord make an end of us. He shall say: Surely you shall tarry |
| Mohammad Shafi They will cry, "O Malik [guarding angel of Hell]! Would that your Lord put an end to us!" He [the guard] will say, "But indeed, you are here to stay |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And they cry: O master! Let thy Lord make an end of us. He saith: Lo! here ye must remain |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani And they will call (Mālik, the keeper of the Hell,) “O Mālik, let your Lord do away with us.” He will say, “You have to stay on.” |
| Muhammad Asad And they will cry: “O thou [angel] who rulest [over hell]! Let thy Sustainer put an end to us!” - whereupon] he will reply: “Verily, you must live on [in this state] |
