﴿وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيَۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقۡضِي بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ ﴾
[الجاثِية: 17]
﴿وآتيناهم بينات من الأمر فما اختلفوا إلا من بعد ما جاءهم العلم﴾ [الجاثِية: 17]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And We gave them clear arguments in the affair, but they did not differ until after knowledge had come to them out of envy among themselves; surely your -Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that wherein they differed |
| Mohammad Shafi And We gave them clear directions on what to do. Then they differed not until after knowledge had come to them out of spite, one against another. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will indeed judge among them in what they differed |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And gave them plain commandments. And they differed not until after the knowledge came unto them, through rivalry among themselves. Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ |
