﴿وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةٗ مِّن قَرۡيَتِكَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَخۡرَجَتۡكَ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 13]
﴿وكأين من قرية هي أشد قوة من قريتك التي أخرجتك أهلكناهم فلا﴾ [مُحمد: 13]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And how many a town which was far more powerful than the town of yours which has driven you out: We destroyed them so there was no helper for them |
| Mohammad Shafi And how many a city greater in power than this city [Makkah] of yours which has driven you out, [O Muhammad,] have We destroyed, and then nobody came to help them |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And how many a township stronger than thy township (O Muhammad) which hath cast thee out, have We destroyed, and they had no helper |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani How many a town, stronger in might than your town that has expelled you, have We destroyed! Then, there was none to help them |
| Muhammad Asad And how many a community of greater power than this thy community which has driven thee out, [O Muhammad,] have We destroyed, with none to succour them |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali And (similarly) how many a town that was more valiant in power than your town, which has driven you out, have We caused to perish! So there was no vindicator for them |
| Muhammad Sarwar (Muhammad), how many towns, much more powerful than the one from which you have been expelled, have We destroyed and left helpless |
