﴿وَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقۡطَعُوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَٰلٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ ﴾
[المَائدة: 38]
﴿والسارق والسارقة فاقطعوا أيديهما جزاء بما كسبا نكالا من الله والله عزيز﴾ [المَائدة: 38]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And (as for) the man who steals and the woman who steals, cut off their hands as a punishment for what they have earned, an exemplary punishment from Allah; and Allah is Mighty, Wise |
