Quran with British translation - Surah Qaf ayat 22 - قٓ - Page - Juz 26
﴿لَّقَدۡ كُنتَ فِي غَفۡلَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفۡنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ حَدِيدٞ ﴾
[قٓ: 22]
﴿لقد كنت في غفلة من هذا فكشفنا عنك غطاءك فبصرك اليوم حديد﴾ [قٓ: 22]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp |
| Mohammad Shafi You were careless about this. Now that We have taken off your cover from you, strong is your eyesight this Day |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (And unto the evil-doer it is said): Thou wast in heedlessness of this. Now We have removed from thee thy covering, and piercing is thy sight this day |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani “You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil from you; so your sight today is sharp.” |
| Muhammad Asad [and will be told:] “Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!” |
