﴿وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَٰذَا مَا لَدَيَّ عَتِيدٌ ﴾
[قٓ: 23]
﴿وقال قرينه هذا ما لدي عتيد﴾ [قٓ: 23]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me |
| Mohammad Shafi And his Companion [witness] says, "It's ready here — what in my hand is [man's record] |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony) |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani And his companion (i.e. the angel who recorded his deeds) will say, “This is what I have with me, ready (to be presented as his record of deeds).” |
| Muhammad Asad And one part of him will say: “This it is that has been ever-present with me!” |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali And his comrade will say, "This is what is closely kept with me constantly ready |
| Muhammad Sarwar His (angelic) companion will say, "(Lord), the record of his deeds is with me and is all ready |

| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition And one’s accompanying-angel will say, “Here is the record ready with me.” |

| N J Dawood And his companion will say: ‘My testimony is ready to hand.‘ |
