﴿قَالَ لَا تَخۡتَصِمُواْ لَدَيَّ وَقَدۡ قَدَّمۡتُ إِلَيۡكُم بِٱلۡوَعِيدِ ﴾
[قٓ: 28]
﴿قال لا تختصموا لدي وقد قدمت إليكم بالوعيد﴾ [قٓ: 28]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand |
| Mohammad Shafi He [Allah] says, "Quarrel not in My Presence; and I did send you the warning in advance |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani He (Allah) will say, “Do not quarrel before Me, while I had sent to you My threat well in advance |
| Muhammad Asad [And] He will say: “Contend not before Me, [O you sinners,] for I gave you a forewarning [of this Day of Reckoning] |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali (He Allah) will say, "Do not take adversary stands with each other close to Me; and I have already forwarded to you the threat |
