﴿فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَلَمۡ يُرِدۡ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا ﴾
[النَّجم: 29]
﴿فأعرض عن من تولى عن ذكرنا ولم يرد إلا الحياة الدنيا﴾ [النَّجم: 29]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Therefore turn aside from him who turns his back upon Our reminder and does not desire anything but this world's life |
| Mohammad Shafi So keep away from those who turn away from remembering Us and who seek nothing but the life of this world |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Then withdraw (O Muhammad) from him who fleeth from Our remembrance and desireth but the life of the world |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So, turn away from him who turns away from Our advice, and seeks nothing but (pleasure of) the worldly life |
| Muhammad Asad Avoid thou, therefore, those who turn away from all remembrance of Us and care for no more than the life of this world |
