Quran with British translation - Surah Ar-Rahman ayat 35 - الرَّحمٰن - Page - Juz 27
﴿يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ ﴾
[الرَّحمٰن: 35]
﴿يرسل عليكما شواظ من نار ونحاس فلا تنتصران﴾ [الرَّحمٰن: 35]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir The flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defend yourselves |
| Mohammad Shafi A trail of fire and smoke will be sent upon you, and you both will be left with no help |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani A flame of fire and a smoke will be loosed against you, and you will not (be able) to defend |
| Muhammad Asad A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke, and you will be left without succour |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Against you (both) will be sent flares of fire, and (molten) brass; then you will not vindicate yourselves |
| Muhammad Sarwar Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to protect yourselves |

| N J Dawood Flames of fire shall be lashed at you, and molten brass. There shall be none to help you |
