الرَّحْمَٰنُ (1) The Most Compassionate |
عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ (2) has taught the Qur’an |
خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ (3) He created man |
عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ (4) and taught him speech |
الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ (5) The sun and the moon follow their precise courses |
وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ (6) and the stars and trees prostrate [to Allah] |
وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ (7) He raised the heaven and enjoined justice |
أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ (8) so that you may not transgress the limits of justice |
وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ (9) Therefore establish weights in justice, and do not give short measure |
وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ (10) He has spread out the earth for all creatures |
فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ (11) in which there are fruits and palm trees with date stalks |
وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ (12) and grain having chaff, and fragrant plants |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (13) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ (14) He created man from dry clay like pottery |
وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ (15) and He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (16) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ (17) [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (18) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ (19) He merges the two seas [of fresh and salty water] meeting together |
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ (20) yet between them is a barrier so that they do not cross |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (21) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ (22) Out of both of them emerge pearls and coral |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (23) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنشَآتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ (24) To Him belong the sailing ships raised up in the sea like mountains |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (25) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ (26) Everyone on earth will perish |
وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ (27) but there will remain the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (28) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
يَسْأَلُهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ (29) All those in the heavens and earth ask of Him; every day He is engaged in some matters |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (30) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلَانِ (31) We will attend to you, O two multitudes [men and jinn] |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (32) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ (33) O assembly of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the realms of the heavens and earth, then pass; you cannot pass without [Our] authority |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (34) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ (35) There will be sent against you flames of fire and smoke, and you will not be able to defend yourselves |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (36) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ (37) When the heaven is split asunder and becomes crimson, like red hide |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (38) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ (39) On that Day no human or jinn will be asked about his sin |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (40) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ (41) The wicked will be known by their marks, and will be seized by their forelocks and their feet |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (42) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ (43) [They will be told] “This is the Hell that the wicked used to deny.” |
يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ (44) They will go round between it and scalding water |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (45) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ (46) For those who fear of standing before their Lord will be two Gardens |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (47) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ (48) Shaded by spreading branches |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (49) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ (50) In each there are two flowing springs |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (51) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ (52) In each there are two kinds of every fruit |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (53) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ (54) They will recline on couches lined with rich brocade, with the fruits of both gardens within reach |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (55) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ (56) In them there will be maidens of restrained gaze, untouched before them by any man or jinn |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (57) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ (58) As if they were rubies and pearls |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (59) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ (60) Is the reward for goodness anything but goodness |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (61) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ (62) And besides these two there will be two other gardens |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (63) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
مُدْهَامَّتَانِ (64) Both of deepest green |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (65) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ (66) In each there are two gushing springs |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (67) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ (68) In each there are fruits, palm trees, and pomegranates |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (69) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَاتٌ حِسَانٌ (70) In them there are beautiful noble women |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (71) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ (72) Maidens with gorgeous eyes, secluded in pavilions |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (73) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ (74) No human or jinn has ever touched them before |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (75) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ (76) [They will be] reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets |
فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (77) Then which of the favors of your Lord will you [men and jinn] deny |
تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ (78) Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Honor |
