﴿فَذَاقَتۡ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهَا وَكَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ أَمۡرِهَا خُسۡرًا ﴾
[الطَّلَاق: 9]
﴿فذاقت وبال أمرها وكان عاقبة أمرها خسرا﴾ [الطَّلَاق: 9]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So it tasted the evil result of its conduct, and the end of its affair was perdition |
| Mohammad Shafi So it [village/town] tasted the evil consequences of its conduct; and its conduct ended in ruin |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall So that it tasted the ill-effects of its conduct, and the consequence of its conduct was loss |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Thus they tasted the evil consequence of their acts, and the end of their conduct was loss |
