﴿قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[القَلَم: 29]
﴿قالوا سبحان ربنا إنا كنا ظالمين﴾ [القَلَم: 29]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: Glory be to our Lord, surely we were unjust |
| Mohammad Shafi They said, "Glory be to our Lord! We have indeed been wrong |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “We pronounce the purity of our Lord. No doubt, we were wrongdoers.” |
| Muhammad Asad They answered: "Limitless in His glory is our Sustainer! Verily, we were doing wrong |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali They said, All Extolment be to our Lord! Surely we were unjust |
| Muhammad Sarwar They said, "All glory belongs to God. We have certainly been unjust |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani They said, .We pronounce the purity of our Lord. No doubt, we were wrongdoers |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition They replied, “Glory be to our Lord! We have truly been wrongdoers.” |
| Mustafa Khattab God Edition They replied, “Glory be to our Lord! We have truly been wrongdoers.” |
| N J Dawood Glory be to our Lord,‘ they said. ‘We have assuredly done wrong.‘ |
| Safi Kaskas They said, "May our Lord be exalted in His glory, we were unjust |
