Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Qalam ayat 32 - القَلَم - Page - Juz 29
﴿عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبۡدِلَنَا خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَٰغِبُونَ ﴾
[القَلَم: 32]
﴿عسى ربنا أن يبدلنا خيرا منها إنا إلى ربنا راغبون﴾ [القَلَم: 32]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Maybe, our Lord will give us instead one better than it; surely to our Lord do we make our humble petition |
| Mohammad Shafi May be our Lord will give us a garden better than this; we do indeed turn to Him now |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall It may be that our Lord will give us better than this in place thereof. Lo! we beseech our Lord |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani We hope that our Lord will give us in exchange something better than this. Truly we turn to Allah.” |
| Muhammad Asad [But] it may be that our Sustainer will grant us something better instead: for, verily, unto our Sustainer do we turn with hope |
