﴿لَّوۡلَآ أَن تَدَٰرَكَهُۥ نِعۡمَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ لَنُبِذَ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ مَذۡمُومٞ ﴾
[القَلَم: 49]
﴿لولا أن تداركه نعمة من ربه لنبذ بالعراء وهو مذموم﴾ [القَلَم: 49]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed |
Mohammad Shafi Had not his Lord's favour taken hold of him [Prophet Jonas], he would have surely been flung away in disgrace upon that desolate shore |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate |
