﴿ثُمَّ لَأٓتِيَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ وَعَنۡ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ وَعَن شَمَآئِلِهِمۡۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ شَٰكِرِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 17]
﴿ثم لآتينهم من بين أيديهم ومن خلفهم وعن أيمانهم وعن شمائلهم ولا﴾ [الأعرَاف: 17]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then I will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them, and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and Thou shalt not find most of them thankful |
| Mohammad Shafi Then I will certainly come to them from the front and from behind them, and from the right and from the left of them. And You shall not find a great number of them grateful |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Then I shall come upon them from before them and from behind them and from their right hands and from their left hands, and Thou wilt not find most of them beholden (unto Thee) |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Then I will come upon them from their front side and from their behind, and from their right and from their left. You will not find most of them grateful |
| Muhammad Asad and shall most certainly fall upon them openly as well as in a manner beyond their ken, and from their right and from their left: and most of them Thou wilt find ungrateful |

| N J Dawood then spring upon them from before and from behind them, from their right and from their left. Then You will find the greater part of them ungrateful.‘ |
