﴿۞ وَإِذۡ نَتَقۡنَا ٱلۡجَبَلَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُۥ ظُلَّةٞ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ وَاقِعُۢ بِهِمۡ خُذُواْ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٖ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 171]
﴿وإذ نتقنا الجبل فوقهم كأنه ظلة وظنوا أنه واقع بهم خذوا ما﴾ [الأعرَاف: 171]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And when We shook the mountain over them as if it were a covering overhead, and they thought that it was going to fall down upon them: Take hold of what We have given you with firmness, and be mindful of what is in it, so that you may guard (against evil) |
Mohammad Shafi And when We made the mountain shake over them like a shadow — and they thought that it was definitely going to fall down upon them — telling them, "Hold firmly what We have given you, and take heed of what there is in it, so that you become pious |
