Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Jinn ayat 3 - الجِن - Page - Juz 29
﴿وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗا ﴾
[الجِن: 3]
﴿وأنه تعالى جد ربنا ما اتخذ صاحبة ولا ولدا﴾ [الجِن: 3]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And that He-- exalted be the majesty of our Lord-- has not taken a consort, nor a son |
| Mohammad Shafi And (we affirm) that He has neither wife nor son; exalted is the Majesty of our Lord |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - hath taken neither wife nor son |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani and (then the Jinns started talking to each other) that exalted is the Glory of our Lord; He has taken neither a wife, nor a son |
| Muhammad Asad for [we know] that sublimely exalted is our Sustainer's majesty: no consort has He ever taken unto Himself, nor a son |
