﴿وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ ﴾
[المُطَففين: 33]
﴿وما أرسلوا عليهم حافظين﴾ [المُطَففين: 33]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And they were not sent to be keepers over them |
| Mohammad Shafi And they [non-believers] are not sent as guardians over them [believers] |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Yet they were not sent as guardians over them |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani while they were not sent as watchmen over them |
| Muhammad Asad And, withal, they have no call to watch over [the beliefs of] others |
