﴿وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَلۡمِزُكَ فِي ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَإِنۡ أُعۡطُواْ مِنۡهَا رَضُواْ وَإِن لَّمۡ يُعۡطَوۡاْ مِنۡهَآ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡخَطُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 58]
﴿ومنهم من يلمزك في الصدقات فإن أعطوا منها رضوا وإن لم يعطوا﴾ [التوبَة: 58]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And of them there are those who blame you with respect to the alms; so if they are given from it they are pleased, and if they are not given from it, lo! they are full of rage |
| Mohammad Shafi And among them are those who blame you for misuse of the welfare funds. If they are given anything from it they are pleased. And if they are not given anything from it, they are indignant |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And of them is he who defameth thee in the matter of the alms. If they are given thereof they are content, and if they are not given thereof, behold! they are enraged |
