﴿يَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ لِيُرۡضُوكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرۡضُوهُ إِن كَانُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 62]
﴿يحلفون بالله لكم ليرضوكم والله ورسوله أحق أن يرضوه إن كانوا مؤمنين﴾ [التوبَة: 62]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They swear to you by Allah that they might please you and, Allah, as well as His Apostle, has a greater right that they should please Him, if they are believers |
| Mohammad Shafi They swear to you by Allah, so that they might thereby please you! Allah — and His Messenger — has a greater right that they should please Him, if they do believe |
