﴿لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِي كَبَدٍ ﴾
[البَلَد: 4]
﴿لقد خلقنا الإنسان في كبد﴾ [البَلَد: 4]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Certainly We have created man to be in distress |
| Mohammad Shafi We have certainly created man for hard work |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall We verily have created man in an atmosphere |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani indeed We have created man (to live) in hard struggle |
| Muhammad Asad Verily, We have created man into [a life of] pain, toil and trial |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Indeed We already created man in suffering |
| Muhammad Sarwar that We have created the human being to face a great deal of hardship |
