﴿وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ ﴾
[اللَّيل: 8]
﴿وأما من بخل واستغنى﴾ [اللَّيل: 8]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah) |
| Mohammad Shafi And he who was miserly [in giving things in Allah's Path], and considered that he needed no divine help |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall But as for him who hoardeth and deemeth himself independent |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani But the one who is miser and deems himself self-sufficient |
| Muhammad Asad But as for him who is niggardly, and thinks that he is self-sufficient |
