﴿وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ ﴾
[اللَّيل: 8]
﴿وأما من بخل واستغنى﴾ [اللَّيل: 8]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But he who suffers from greed and thinks himself self-sufficient |
| Ali Unal But as for him who is niggardly and regards himself as self-sufficient in independence of Him |
| Hamid S Aziz But as for him who is niggardly and thinks himself independent (or self-sufficient) |
| John Medows Rodwell But as to him who is covetous and bent on riches |
| Literal And but who was stingy/miser and sufficed/availed |
| Mir Aneesuddin And as for him who was niggardly and considered himself independent |
