Quran with English translation - Surah Yunus ayat 27 - يُونس - Page - Juz 11
﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةِۭ بِمِثۡلِهَا وَتَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۖ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۡ عَاصِمٖۖ كَأَنَّمَآ أُغۡشِيَتۡ وُجُوهُهُمۡ قِطَعٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مُظۡلِمًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 27]
﴿والذين كسبوا السيئات جزاء سيئة بمثلها وترهقهم ذلة ما لهم من الله﴾ [يُونس: 27]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But those who have earned misery will have a reward of like misery. Disgrace will cover them. No defender will they have from God. Their faces will be covered, as with pieces from the depth of the darkness of night. They are companions of the fire. They will dwell therein forever |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And those who did the bad, payback of bad is equal to it, and humiliation covers them. They have no defender against God, as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night's darkness. They are inhabitants of the fire remaining in there forever |
Ali Quli Qarai For those who have committed misdeeds, the requital of a misdeed shall be its like, and they shall be overcast by abasement. They shall have no one to protect [them] from Allah. [They will be] as if their faces were covered with dark patches of the night. They shall be the inmates of the Fire, and they shall remain in it [forever] |
Ali Unal And for those who have earned evil deeds, the recompense of an evil deed will be the like of it; and ignominy will cover them – nor will they have anyone to defend them against God – it is as though their faces were veiled with patches of darkest night. Those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein |

John Medows Rodwell And as for those who have wrought out evil, their recompense shall be evil of like degree, and shame shall cover them - no protector shall they have against God: as though their faces were darkened with deep murk of night! These shall be inmates of the fire: therein they shall abide for ever |
Literal And (to) those who gathered/acquired the sins/crimes (a) reimbursement (of) a sin/crime with similar/equal to it and humiliation/disgrace burdens/depresses/oppresses them, none from (a) protector/shelterer (is) for them from (other than) God, as though their faces (are) covered/darkened (with) parts/portions (of) the darkened night. Those are the fire`s owners/company , they are in it immortally/eternally |
Mir Anees Original And those who earn evils, (their) reward (will be) similar to their evil and disgrace will cover them, there will be no protector for them (to protect them) from Allah, their faces will be as if they were covered with pieces of dark night, those are the inhabitants of the fire, they will stay therein |
