﴿أَفَأَمِنُوٓاْ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمۡ غَٰشِيَةٞ مِّنۡ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 107]
﴿أفأمنوا أن تأتيهم غاشية من عذاب الله أو تأتيهم الساعة بغتة وهم﴾ [يُوسُف: 107]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Do they then feel secure from the coming against them of the covering veil of punishment from God, or of the coming against them of the Hour all of a sudden, while they expect it not |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Do they feel safe about an overwhelming God’s punishment coming to them, or the hour comes to them suddenly while they do not realize |
| Ali Quli Qarai Do they feel secure from being overtaken by a blanket punishment from Allah, or being overtaken by the Hour, suddenly, while they are unaware |
| Ali Unal Do they deem themselves secure that there will not come upon them an overwhelming punishment of God, which will envelop them thoroughly, or that the Last Hour will not come upon them all of a sudden, without their being aware (of its coming) |
| Hamid S Aziz Think they themselves secure, then, from overwhelming punishment coming on them from Allah, or from the Hour coming upon them suddenly while they are unaware |
