Quran with English translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 9 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 12
﴿ٱقۡتُلُواْ يُوسُفَ أَوِ ٱطۡرَحُوهُ أَرۡضٗا يَخۡلُ لَكُمۡ وَجۡهُ أَبِيكُمۡ وَتَكُونُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ قَوۡمٗا صَٰلِحِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 9]
﴿اقتلوا يوسف أو اطرحوه أرضا يخل لكم وجه أبيكم وتكونوا من بعده﴾ [يُوسُف: 9]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “Slay Joseph or cast him out to some unknown land, so the favor of your father may be given to you alone. There will be enough time for you to be righteous after that.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Kill Joseph or throw him out to another land, then your father’s full attention will be yours, and you will be righteous people after that |
| Ali Quli Qarai ‘Kill Joseph or cast him away into some [distant] land, so that your father’s attention may be exclusively towards you, and thereafter you may become a righteous lot.’ |
| Ali Unal (One of them said:) "Kill Joseph, or cast him out in some distant land so that your father’s attention should turn only to you, and after that you may again become righteous people |
| Hamid S Aziz Slay Joseph, or cast him out to some (far or unknown) land; that your father´s face (favour) may be free for you, and you may afterwards be a righteous folk |
| John Medows Rodwell Slay ye Joseph! or drive him to some other land, and on you alone shall your father's face be set! and after this, ye shall live as upright persons |
| Literal Kill/fight Joseph or throw him/cast him away (to) a land , your father`s face becomes free/alone for you, and you be from after it a correct/righteous nation |
| Mir Anees Original Kill Yusuf or cast him away in some (other) land, then the attention of your father will be exclusively for you, and after that you become righteous people.” |
| Mir Aneesuddin Kill Joseph or cast him away in some (other) land, then the attention of your father will be exclusively for you, and after that you become righteous people.” |
