Quran with English translation - Surah Maryam ayat 48 - مَريَم - Page - Juz 16
﴿وَأَعۡتَزِلُكُمۡ وَمَا تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدۡعُواْ رَبِّي عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّي شَقِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 48]
﴿وأعتزلكم وما تدعون من دون الله وأدعو ربي عسى ألا أكون بدعاء﴾ [مَريَم: 48]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “And I will turn away from you all, and from those whom you invoke besides God. I will call on my Lord, perhaps because of my prayer to my Lord, I will not be unblessed.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad I stay away from you and what you call on other than God, and I call on my Master, perhaps I will not be unhappy with prayer to my Master |
| Ali Quli Qarai I dissociate myself from you and whatever you invoke besides Allah. I will supplicate my Lord. Hopefully, I will not be disappointed in supplicating my Lord.’ |
| Ali Unal And I will withdraw from you (my father and my people), and from whatever you deify and invoke other than God. I pray to my Lord alone; I hope that I will not be unblessed in my prayer to my Lord |
| Hamid S Aziz I will part from you and what you call on beside Allah, and will pray unto my Lord. It may be that in my prayer unto my Lord, I shall not be unblest |
| John Medows Rodwell But I will separate myself from you, and the gods ye call on beside God, and on my Lord will I call. Haply, my prayers to my Lord will not be with ill success |
| Literal And I separate/isolate myself from you and what you call from other than God, and I call my Lord, maybe/perhaps that I not be with my Lord`s call/prayer miserable/unhappy |
| Mir Anees Original And I will withdraw from you and that which you pray to besides Allah, and I will pray to my Fosterer, may be that I will not be unsuccessful in my prayer to my Fosterer |
