Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 76 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 1
﴿وَإِذَا لَقُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ قَالُوٓاْ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِۦ عِندَ رَبِّكُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 76]
﴿وإذا لقوا الذين آمنوا قالوا آمنا وإذا خلا بعضهم إلى بعض قالوا﴾ [البَقَرَة: 76]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Behold, when they meet the people of faith they say, “We believe.” But when they meet each other in private they say, “Shall you tell them what God has revealed to you, that they may engage you in argument about it before your Lord?” Do you not understand |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And whenever they met those who believed, they said: we believed. And when they met each other in private, they said: why do you tell them about what God disclosed for you, so that they argue with you before your Master with it? Do you not understand |
| Ali Quli Qarai When they meet the faithful, they say, ‘We believe,’ and when they are alone with one another, they say, ‘Do you recount to them what Allah has revealed to you, so that they may argue with you therewith before your Lord? Do you not exercise your reason?’ |
