Quran with English translation - Surah Ta-Ha ayat 72 - طه - Page - Juz 16
﴿قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤۡثِرَكَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنَاۖ فَٱقۡضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٍۖ إِنَّمَا تَقۡضِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَآ ﴾
[طه: 72]
﴿قالوا لن نؤثرك على ما جاءنا من البينات والذي فطرنا فاقض ما﴾ [طه: 72]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They said, “Never will we consider you more than the clear signs that have come to us, or more than Him Who created us. So do whatever you want to do, for you can only influence in the life of the present |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They (the magicians) said: we never prefer you to what came to us from the clear proofs (evidences) and to the One who created us, so decide what you want to decide, for you only decide in this world’s life |
| Ali Quli Qarai They said, ‘We will never prefer you to the clear proofs which have come to us, and to Him who originated us. Decide whatever you want to decide. You can only decide about the life of this world |
| Ali Unal They said: "We will never prefer you above the clear evidence (manifesting the truth) that has come before us, and above Him Who originated us. So decree whatever you decree: you can decree only for the life of this world |
| Hamid S Aziz Said they, "We will never prefer you to what has come to us as Manifest Signs, and to Him who originated us. Decree then whatever you desire to decree; for you can only decree about the life of this world |
| John Medows Rodwell They said, "We will not have more regard to thee than to the clear tokens which have come to us, or than to Him who hath made us: doom the doom thou wilt: Thou canst only doom as to this present life |
| Literal They said: "We will never/not prefer/choose you over what came to us from the evidences, and who created/brought us into being , so order/execute what you are ordering/executing but you (only) destroy/end this the life the present/worldly life |
| Mir Anees Original They said, "We will never prefer you to what has come to us of the clear proofs and to Him Who initiated our creation. So decide whatever you (wish to) decide, you can decide only about the life of this world |
