Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 80 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿وَعَلَّمۡنَٰهُ صَنۡعَةَ لَبُوسٖ لَّكُمۡ لِتُحۡصِنَكُم مِّنۢ بَأۡسِكُمۡۖ فَهَلۡ أَنتُمۡ شَٰكِرُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 80]
﴿وعلمناه صنعة لبوس لكم لتحصنكم من بأسكم فهل أنتم شاكرون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 80]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It was We Who taught him the making of armor for your benefit, to guard you from violence. Will you then be grateful |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We taught him making of armored coats for you in order to protect you from each others' violence (in your wars), so will you be thankful |
| Ali Quli Qarai We taught him the making of coats of mail for you, to protect you from your [own] violence. Will you then be grateful |
| Ali Unal And We taught him the art of making iron coats-of-mail so that they might fortify you from the violence of war. So, are you (really people who are) thankful |
| Hamid S Aziz And We taught him the art of making coats of mail for you, to shield you from each other´s violence; are you then grateful |
| John Medows Rodwell And we taught David the art of making mail for you, to defend you from each other's violence: will ye therefore be thankful |
| Literal And We taught/instructed him a trade/skill/craft (of) clothes/shields for you, to fortify/protect you from your hardship in war, so are you thankful/grateful |
| Mir Anees Original And We taught him the (art of) making coats of mail for you that they might protect you in your wars. Will you then be grateful |
