Quran with English translation - Surah Al-hajj ayat 25 - الحج - Page - Juz 17
﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلۡنَٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَآءً ٱلۡعَٰكِفُ فِيهِ وَٱلۡبَادِۚ وَمَن يُرِدۡ فِيهِ بِإِلۡحَادِۭ بِظُلۡمٖ نُّذِقۡهُ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ ﴾
[الحج: 25]
﴿إن الذين كفروا ويصدون عن سبيل الله والمسجد الحرام الذي جعلناه للناس﴾ [الحج: 25]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al As for those who have rejected God, and would keep back the people from the way of God, and from the Sacred Masjid which We have made for all people, must know that equal there is the resident and the visitor, and any whose purpose for being there is deviation or wrongdoing, We will cause them to taste a most terrible penalty |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Indeed those who disbelieved and obstruct God's way and the Sacred Mosque, which We made it equal for the people whether the resident in there or the visitors, and anyone who wants the deviation (from the truth) in there by wrongdoing, We make him taste from a painful punishment |
| Ali Quli Qarai Indeed those who are faithless and bar from the way of Allah and the Sacred Mosque, which We have made for all people, the native and the visitor being equal therein—whoever wrongfully tries to commit violation in it, We shall make him taste a painful punishment |
| Ali Unal Those who disbelieve and bar (others) from God’s way and (the believers from visiting) the Sacred Mosque, which We have set up as a place of worship for all (believing) people alike, both for those who dwell therein (in Makkah) and for those who come from abroad – whoever seeks a deviation from the right course therein by deliberate wrongdoing, We cause him to taste a painful punishment |

| John Medows Rodwell But those who believe not, and seduce others from the way of God, and from the Holy Mosque which we have appointed to all men, alike for those who abide therein, and for the stranger; And those who seek impiously to profane it, we will cause to taste a grievous punishment |
| Literal That those who disbelieved and prevent/obstruct from God`s way/path , and the Mosque the Forbidden/Respected/Sacred which We made/put it to/for the people, equal the devoted/dedicated in it, and the apparent (visitor), and who wants/intends in it by deviation/apostasy with injustice/oppression, We make him taste/experience from a painful torture |
| Mir Anees Original And (remember) when We had assigned to Ibrahim the place of the house (Kaaba and ordered) that, you do not associate with Me anything (as partner), and clean My house for those who walk around (it) and stand and bow down prostrating (in worship) |
