﴿وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَلَن يُخۡلِفَ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥۚ وَإِنَّ يَوۡمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلۡفِ سَنَةٖ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ ﴾
[الحج: 47]
﴿ويستعجلونك بالعذاب ولن يخلف الله وعده وإن يوما عند ربك كألف سنة﴾ [الحج: 47]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And they ask you to hasten on the punishment, but God will not fail in His promise. Indeed a day in the sight of your Lord is like a thousand years of your count |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They ask you to hurry up with the punishment, while God never breaks His promise. And indeed a day with your Master is like a thousand years of what you count |
Ali Quli Qarai They ask you to hasten the punishment, though Allah will never break His promise. Indeed a day with your Lord is like a thousand years by your reckoning |
Ali Unal They challenge you to hasten the coming upon them of God’s punishment (with which they are threatened). Let them know that God never fails to fulfill His promise; but a day with your Lord is like a thousand years in your reckoning |
