﴿إِذۡ تَلَقَّوۡنَهُۥ بِأَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَتَقُولُونَ بِأَفۡوَاهِكُم مَّا لَيۡسَ لَكُم بِهِۦ عِلۡمٞ وَتَحۡسَبُونَهُۥ هَيِّنٗا وَهُوَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ عَظِيمٞ ﴾
[النور: 15]
﴿إذ تلقونه بألسنتكم وتقولون بأفواهكم ما ليس لكم به علم وتحسبونه هينا﴾ [النور: 15]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When you put it on your tongues, and said out of your mouths, things of which you had no knowledge, and you thought it to be a light matter, when it was most serious in the sight of God |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad When you receive it through each other’s tongues and you say with your mouths what you have no knowledge of it, and you think it is insignificant, while it is significant in God's view |
| Ali Quli Qarai when you were receiving it on your tongues, and were mouthing something of which you had no knowledge, supposing it to be a light matter, while it was a grave [matter] with Allah |
| Ali Unal Just think how you welcomed it with your tongues from one another and uttered with your mouths something about which you had no knowledge. You deemed it a trifle whereas in God’s sight it was most grave |
