﴿أَمۡ تَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ يَسۡمَعُونَ أَوۡ يَعۡقِلُونَۚ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بَلۡ هُمۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 44]
﴿أم تحسب أن أكثرهم يسمعون أو يعقلون إن هم إلا كالأنعام بل﴾ [الفُرقَان: 44]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Or do you think that most of them listen or understand? They are only like livestock. No, they wander even more |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Or do you think that most of them listen or understand? They are like animals. No, but they are more lost from a (right) way |
| Ali Quli Qarai Do you suppose that most of them listen or exercise their reason? They are just like cattle; indeed, they are further astray from the way |
| Ali Unal Or do you think that most of them (really) hear or reason and understand? They are but like cattle, (following only their instincts). No, they are more heedless of the right way (and therefore in greater need of being led than cattle) |
| Hamid S Aziz Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are but like the cattle, nay, they are further astray in the path |
| John Medows Rodwell Thinkest thou that the greater part of them hear or understand? They are just like the brutes! Yes! they stray even further from the right way |
