Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Furqan ayat 45 - الفُرقَان - Page - Juz 19
﴿أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيۡفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنٗا ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ عَلَيۡهِ دَلِيلٗا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 45]
﴿ألم تر إلى ربك كيف مد الظل ولو شاء لجعله ساكنا ثم﴾ [الفُرقَان: 45]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Have you not turned your vision to your Guardian Evolver? See how He prolongs the shadow? If He willed, He could make it stationary. But instead We make the Sun its guide |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Did you not see how you Master makes the shadow longer, and if He wanted He would have made it stand still, and We made the sun its guide |
Ali Quli Qarai Have you not regarded how your Lord spreads the twilight? (Had He wished He would have made it stand still.) Then We made the sun a beacon for it |
Ali Unal Have you considered your Lord – how He spreads the shade? If He willed, He would surely make it stationary, but We have made the sun its pilot |
Hamid S Aziz Have you not seen how your Lord spreads the shadow? Had He willed He could have made it still - We make the sun its guide |
John Medows Rodwell Hast thou not seen how thy Lord lengtheneth out the shadow? Had He pleased he had made it motionless. But we made the sun to be its guide |
Literal Do you not see to your Lord how He extended/spread the shade ? And if He willed/wanted, He would have made it still/motionless, then We made/put the sun on it (as) a proof/evidence |
Mir Anees Original Did you not consider (the work of) your Fosterer, how He stretches the shade (which ultimately ends in night)? And had He willed he could have made it stationary. Then We have made the sun its guide |
