﴿قُلۡ مَا يَعۡبَؤُاْ بِكُمۡ رَبِّي لَوۡلَا دُعَآؤُكُمۡۖ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبۡتُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 77]
﴿قل ما يعبأ بكم ربي لولا دعاؤكم فقد كذبتم فسوف يكون لزاما﴾ [الفُرقَان: 77]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Say to the rejecters, “My Lord is not upset by you, if you do not call on Him, but you have indeed rejected Him, so soon will come the inevitable punishment.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Say: my Master does not care about you if it was not for your calls. But you have certainly denied (the truth), so there will be an inevitable (punishment) |
| Ali Quli Qarai Say, ‘Were it not for the sake of summoning you [to faith], what store my Lord would have set by you? But you impugned [me and my summons], so it will soon follow as a result.’ |
| Ali Unal Say: "My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer. Now that you have denied (His Message), the inescapable punishment will cleave to you |
| Hamid S Aziz Say (to the rejecters), "My Lord is not concerned (or uneased) because of you if you call not on Him (in prayer); but you have denied (Him or the Truth), therefore will there be judgment |
| John Medows Rodwell SAY: Not on your account doth my Lord care if ye call not on Him! ye have treated his Apostle as an impostor: but bye and bye a punishment shall cleave to them |
| Literal Say: "My Lord does not care/bother with you, where it not for your call/prayer so you had lied/denied/falsified, so (your punishment) will be (a) necessity/obligation |
| Mir Anees Original Say, "My Fosterer does not (even) care for you all if you do not pray (to Him), and you have denied so (the consequence of) it will be inevitable." (R 6, P 18 ¼) |
