Quran with English translation - Surah An-Naml ayat 15 - النَّمل - Page - Juz 19
﴿وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ عِلۡمٗاۖ وَقَالَا ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٖ مِّنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 15]
﴿ولقد آتينا داود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير﴾ [النَّمل: 15]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al In the past, We gave knowledge to David and Solomon, and they both said, “Praise God, Who has favored us above many of His servants who believe.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We have certainly given David and Solomon knowledge, and they both said: all praise belongs to God, the One who preferred us over many of His believing servants |
Ali Quli Qarai Certainly, We gave knowledge to David and Solomon, and they said, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, who granted us an advantage over many of His faithful servants.’ |
Ali Unal (On the other hand, We saved the Children of Israel whom the Pharaohs had persecuted for centuries, and granted them great triumph. And in time,) We granted David and Solomon (special) knowledge. Both used to thank and praise God, saying: "All praise and gratitude are for God, Who has favored us more than many of His believing servants |
